Presentation Abstract

While selecting a performance improvement method, organizations often have difficulty in selecting PDCA, Six Sigma and Lean Improvement methodologies because they are considered as three different techniques that need to be applied in different situations and environments.  In this discussion, we will explore that when a process is viewed from a systems approach, the three methodologies seem to complement each other and a structured approach can be built around applying all three methods as a process cycles through phases of improvement.
