Steering Committee 2010 Kick-Off Meeting

Our Steering Committee kick-off meetings are traditionally held face-to-face.  Darin Bolthouse and Delmia have generously offered to host this year's meeting.

We're proposing that the meeting commences at 11:30am and wraps-up at 1:00pm.  Whether you are able to make this date/time or not, please indicate alternative dates and times in case we need to re-schedule (add comments to the web-site event entry).

The tentative agenda for the meeting is to:

  1. Elect a president and fill each Steering Committee position.
  2. Schedule the year's Steering Committee meetings.
  3. Pencil in dates for at least 2 general membership meetings.
  4. Pencil in the date of the Annual Conference.

Steering Committee members from 2009 who are rolling off are welcome to attend.

First 2010 MSUG Meeting; Lunch

I expect to be able to attend. 

As part of the meeting, we need to consider the lunch plan -- this is an important part of any (face to face) gathering!   I believe last year we had several types of pizza (need to include option for vegetarians, if any).

Is the host representative (Darin) handling this?   I didn't see any mention of lunch in the meeting announcement.

Who's Attending So Far...

Just a quick recap.  So far, I've heard from the following, all of whom are attending:

Dave Stone
Len Copus
Mark Steury
Martin Barnes
Ravi Lote

Including myself, this makes 9 of the current Steering Committee.  Incidentally, I'll only be able to participate via phone-in as I'll be Boston.  :-(

Jan 13th is OK for me.  I am on vacation Mon Jan 25 and Tues Jan 26.

Just in case we need to re-schedule, I'm not available until Jan 13th.  From that point on, I'm available just about any time except Tuesdays.
